Returns and Refunds
Personalized Products: Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If you receive a damaged or defective item, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We really hope this NEVER happens and to date, we have never had anyone not satisfied and request a refund. When we make a personalized item for you, it is JUST for you. We check every detail before we ship out your purchase to make sure it is perfect and beautiful in every way.
So, if you just happen to change your mind after your item has already been made or already shipped, we really can't do anything about that, and we know you understand because we make each item ESPECIALLY for you. Nothing is just sitting on the shelf ready to go, and the likelihood of someone name Alphonse or Mary Gertrude Alicia purchasing the same product the same way you want it are pretty slim. We do hope you understand.
However, if your item arrives damaged (please take a picture of the box or envelope and the damaged item), the USPS requires this for us to make a claim and we can't issue a refund or replacement without the pictures. If it is damaged and you provide us the pictures, we will happily replace your item and send you a new one.
If your item or items cost is over $50 you may want to purchase additional insurance- just in case. Contact me and we can figure out if you need it and what the best options are.
Lost Items. We cannot issue a refund for items that are lost in the mail. All of our packages are shipped with tracking. We will do our best to help you find your item, but once it leaves our hands, it is out of our hands.
In 99.3% of our thousands of orders that we have shipped, we have not had a problem. Every now and then our boxes fall into the hands of someone clearly having a bad day and we get a picture of our box that looks like they ran it over with the mail truck, so we know things do happen now and then.
If we do agree to issue a refund or a replacement item we will need the following:
1) We require a receipt or proof of purchase- so please direct us to your order.
2) For damaged items, we MUST have the pictures of the box and the damaged item.
3) If we agree to issue a refund for a product you MUST return the product within 7 days of receiving your purchase, after 7 days we cannot issue a refund for any reason. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
